Good Speakers Are Important for Good Home Theater |
Main Speakers A/V speakers provide outstanding imaging, frequency response and dynamic range for handling dialogue, music and sound effects.
Center Speaker The center speaker delivers most of the dialogue, so high clarity output is vital to movie enjoyment.
Rear Effect Speakers Ideally, these speakers should be the same as the main speakers. However compact, high quality speakers can also be used, especially necessary when reproducing Dolby Digital or DTS Digital Surround movies.
Subwoofer Because good bass response is neccessary for enjoying movie sound, Advanced YST subwoofers are ideal for use in digital home theater systems. To fully optimize bass performance in a high-end system, two subwoofers are recommended.
7-Channel Signal Processing 7-channel signal processing with independent front effect channels. 5.1 and 6.1 channel systems, which combine the front effect and main channel signals, are excellent, but by adding front effect speakers for 8 and 9 channel output, the front sound field achieves superior multi-dimensional sound. |
5.1-Channel Speaker System The Dolby Digital and DTS formats deliver the sound though "5.1" (actually 6) channels: 2 main, 2 rear effect, 1 center and 1 low frequency effect (LFE, bass). |
6.1-Channel Speaker System This speaker system adds a rear center channel, so low frequency music and sound effects are heard from the front and rear.

5.1-Channel Plus Front Effect Speaker System digital sound field processing is advanced enough to provide two additional amplifier channels for front effect speakers. The benefit is more precise separation of dialogue, music and effects in the front sound stage. This is a system we strongly recommend. |
6.1-Channel Plus Front Effect and 2nd Subwoofer Speaker System If you think a 6.1-channel system sounds great, try it with front effect speakers and a second subwoofer. The extra bass output adds depth and expansiveness, for a sound experience that simply has to be heard to be believed. |
